JEDI Challenge Recap 2022

This 3-minute video gives an overview of the JEDI Challenge. Developed and delivered by The Parker Avery Group, this program supported six young entrepreneurs in Jamaica by taking them through the development of a comprehensive business plan. Conducted entirely via Zoom over the course of eight weeks, the JEDI Challenge concluded with final presentations by the JEDI participants (“the JEDIs”). Parker Avery awarded cash funding for each of these ventures to help them start and grow their businesses and plans regular touch bases with the young entrepreneurs over the next few years. The firm will continue the program annually, with JEDI 2.0 commencing in the summer of 2022.

The JEDI Challenge Returns 2022

Called the “JEDI Challenge” (Jamaican Entrepreneur Development Initiative), the mission is to teach and coach budding entrepreneurs in Jamaica how to successfully launch or expand their businesses as well as provide seed funding. To accomplish this mission, select members of the Parker Avery Team built and delivered an intensive, eight-week course that covers fundamental elements of a comprehensive business plan. This is the second year of the JEDI Challenge program.
